Microphone Issues- Static Noise/ Loud Crackling Sound
When you hear loud banging thunderous sounds through the mic system this is caused from equipment failure. This happen's for two reasons.
1. Internal partially severed wire connection in the microphone headset cable which causes the mic to disconnect and reconnect rapidly.
- You will need to get your headset microphone replaced or repaired.
2. Loose bodypack input jack that causes the jack to hit chassis of the body pack which amplifies a noise through the system.
To fix the loose input jack you will need a very small flat head screwdriver to turn the input jacks outer gear washer clockwise.
- Turn down the mic's wall volume controller.
- Remove the headset from the body pack.
- Use the screwdriver to put into the upper or lower slot opening on the washer and turn clockwise.
