Wireless Microphone Tuning and Troubleshooting

The Sennheiser receiver is built into the audio rack and receives its signal from the body pack transmitter.


- Assigning a new frequency.* Press the set button on the Sennheiser receiver in the rack.*Use the arrow buttons to scroll up to easy setup and press the set button.* Scroll up to scan new list and hit the set button. The receiver is now scanning all of the frequencies and will produce a list of useable frequencies that can be selected by switching the banks and channels.


*Once the scan is complete use the arrow buttons to scroll to a the bank thathas the most available channels to choose from. (Example, Bank 6 free 12).Remember the bank and channel, you selected, you will need thisinformation when setting the body pack. * Once you have selected a newbank, you will need to select the channel. To do this, locate the RF meter onthe left side of the LCD screen of theSennheiserreceiver. *Scroll up whileviewing the RF meter and select one that has the least amount of movementon the RF meter and press set. The words stored will come up on the LCDscreen. * Scroll down to exit and press the set button. Scroll down to"Squelch" and press the set button. 


Select the setting called "Middle" and press the set button.Now that the new frequency has been chosen, we need to update the settings on the body pack.* Turn on the body pack, and with the battery cover open, press the set button on the body pack. Scroll up to "FrequencyPreset" and press set.  Use the arrow button to select the bank You previously chose and press set,  now select the  channel that you chose. TheRF meter on the Sennheiser receiver in the rack should now be close to the top. Now that you have successfully synced the body pack with the newly assigned frequency, the sensitivity should be checked as well. Scroll up on the body pack to "Sensitivity" and press the set button. The sensitivity should be at -24 db. Use the arrows on the body pack to select -24db and press the "set" button. Scroll to exit and press the "set" button again.


You have now synced and calibrated you wirelessmicsystem.
